Artist Statement
I am a mixed-media painter based in Seattle, with a diverse background attending Evergreen College, teaching music, and touring as a drummer with Blackbird and Party Mountain. For 15 years, I worked as a chef, but my passion for art eventually led me to pursue a career as a painter.
My artwork reflects the world around me, and I am committed to using eco-friendly practices in creating my work. I use Frankensteined printers with reclaimed toners and dies to keep my printing process sustainable. My work has been featured in various settings, from intimate pop-up shows to crowded boardrooms in New York City.
As a street artist heavily influenced by world events and politics, I have painted and sold over 560 original pieces in the last three years. My work is appreciated and sought after by a wide variety of art enthusiasts and collectors, including Tobey Maguire and Sean Comb. Most recently in 2022 François Pinault, the French founder of the luxury group Kering and investment holding company Artémis, added two of my landscape paintings to his world-renowned collection.
Collectors are intrigued by the subject matter of my work, and I am proud to use my artwork to promote positive change in society. I believe that art has the power to transform the way we see the world and each other, and I am dedicated to continuing my artistic journey and sharing my work with others.
