Top 10 West Seattle Small Businesses for Holiday Shopping!
Less than a week away from Christmas and the stores are bustling with shoppers. People are out searching for those last minute gifts, filling their baskets with stocking stuffers, sweet treats and last chance treasures. I want to share with you my stops for West Seattle holiday shopping.
The one thing that I love about West Seattle is how supportive the community is of all our local small businesses. It’s a friendly vibe of neighborly hospitality. In addition, a majority of my favorite places to shop are all within a 1.5 mile stretch. This makes it easy to find parking and casually stroll along the California Ave.
Power Up Canna Style
Let’s take a walk and explore these local gems. First stop, is C&P Coffee. An old craftsman house converted into a coffee shop, you’re guaranteed to feel right at home. From cozy couches to outdoor garden seating, this busy spot also has some of the best swag. Personal favorites are their ultra soft zip hoodies and the stylish travel mugs.
A few doors down I head over to Moon Room. This magical store is stacked with sparkle! Natural stones, crystals, hand crafted goods, tinctures, tonics and trinkets! This store is the perfect spot to shop for anyone who is universally spiritual, loves meditation, yoga, astrology, the craft and more. Just a walk through will cleanse your energy and leave you feeling light.
Next we’ll head up north to the Junction, but first a quick stop at the Canna West stores. The Culture Shop, located directly across from the dispensary features local artists for the West Seattle Art Walk. It also has a variety of all natural and organic non-psychoactive CBD products, premium glass paraphernalia, apparel and so much more. Plus they offer complimentary gift wrapping!
The West Seattle Junction
Rock and roll yourself down to Easy Street Records for your classic burger & fries, a fresh cup of java and an endless scroll through the finest vinyl selections in the northwest. This historical hot spot will forever be a piece of iconic Seattle history.
Book lovers can get swept away in the isles of the Pegasus Book Exchange. This local book store is home to used and new books, everything from great vintage collections to the most modern esteemed literature. Plus they have a great book exchange program! Check it out here >
Next door you can pick up the best of the best all natural and organic treats for your fuzzy friends. Next to Nature is West Seattle’s own pet friendly, pet supply store, with a healthiest selection of food and pet accessories. My pit Mr. Doobey loves the variety of jerky treats and extra large bones.
Top of the list every holiday season is Mystery Made. This is my go-to stop to get all my gifts for all my favorite guys. Stylish apparel to unique accessories and killer brand collaborations, this shop is tuned in to the masculine side of the PNW. Just browsing through the store stirs your inner wanderlust with it’s nostalgic ambience of outdoor adventure. There’s nothing but good vibes in this shop…and a motorcycle!
Vintage Dreamings
For the thrift store cowboys and vintage collection junkies, West Seattle has some of the best thrift shops in Seattle. Just a few skips away from Mystery Made is the Doll Parts Collective and the Antique Mall of West Seattle. Both stores are stacked with unique finds, collectables, stylish threads and so much more. Your destined to get carried away treasure hunting all day!
