Thank you West Seattle for your Camp 2nd Chance Donations!
Canna West Seattle and its sister store, The Culture Shop, started accepting donations for Camp 2nd Chance (C2C) two weeks ago and so far the community response has been amazing! Our hearts (and our donation bins and our cars) are overflowing with gratitude. Not only did we receive clothing and home related donations, we also received a ton of Christmas decorations, which we are still seeking!
C2C provides an amazing opportunity for those seeking emergency shelter to safely get back on their feet and are very grateful for the donations and community support.
We first want to thank our community and our neighborhood of West Seattleites. Thank you!! As each year passes we feel more and more like a pillar on California Avenue as opposed to a newbie. That’s because our neighbors and community members like you keep visiting our store, and for that we are so grateful!
Secondly we would like to thank C2C for partnering with us. We are inspired by their mission and sensible/safe approach, and want to continue to help support our neighbors in any way we can. Collecting donations is easy and hopefully we can continue to drive a lot more as we get closer to Christmas day!
And finally we want to thank the West Seattle Blog. Editor Tracy Record and the entire WSB team do a fantastic job of keeping us up to date on the latest in-the-moment news in West Seattle. We are thankful for their presence and contribution to our community!
