Trick or Treat! Spooky Movie Pairings with Captain Yeti
Adults like to trick or treat too! ’Tis the season for pumpkin spice lattes, spooky yard art and yes, finally sweater weather has arrived! But you know what my favorite seasonal October ritual is? It’s binge watching all my favorite horror films every night of the week!
There’s no better excuse with Halloween on the horizon than to turn all the lights off, kick back under a cozy blanket, light up something tasty and turn on a spooky flick!
This year my excitement for the season grows with Captain Yeti delivering a fresh drop of Halloween delights. Let’s face it! Weed and horror movies go hand in hand!
Here are my recommended Top 5 classic horror movie pairings with Captain Yeti’s holiday treats!
Young Frankenstein (1974)
This 1974 horror/comedy never gets old! An annual rerun of laughter and absurdity is much needed for the soul, this movie pairs perfectly with Captain Yeti’s Frankenstein indica flower. This combo delivers a couch lock belly laugh of a good time, followed by a very satisfying deep sleep.
The Witches of Eastwick (1987)
That scene in the movie with the cherries is forever embedded in my mind. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, then you need to hurry and watch this classic eighties horror film asap! Starring Jack Nicholson, Cher, Michelle Pfeiffer and Susan Sarandon, this all star cast deserves to be celebrated with the spark of Captain Yeti’s Resting Witch Face!
Death Becomes Her (1992)
I absolutely recommend watching the Meryl Streep/Goldie Hawn film Death Becomes Her. Two youth obsessed women sacrifice it all for a taste of an immortal potion. The Magic Nightmare Potion (an indica cross of Green Love Potion x Tigers Blood) will have you literally, physically feeling every single special effect in the movie! Its a full body head to toe tickling tingling experience!
From Dusk till Dawn (1996)
It’s a no brainer lighting up a sativa like Vampire Sunrise and turning on the Quinton Tarantino’s classic From Dusk till Dawn. Talk about amplifying the experience! Action packed with high volume gore and vampire slayings, lighting up this hash joint will keep you jumping out of your seat and your heart beating through your chest!
The Conjuring (2013)
Jumping forward to a more recent film, The Conjuring is about real life ghost hunters Ed and Lorraine Warren helping a young family haunted by a demonic witch spirit who fights to possess the mother. This hair raising ghost flick based on a true story deserves a premium puff of Captain Yeti’s Haunted Hash House… but be very, very careful with this combo. The intensity of fright is best experienced with a friend! Trick or treat!!
